So my ankle has been hurting for a few days now. So today i went to the doctors and they took xrays and what do i find out i fractured the ball of my ankle(not really sure if thats what is medical called but i think you know what i mean lol) i opted out of the hard cast thing for an air cast. I wont be doing much of anything for atleast 6 weeks...not fun at all

Ouch!! yes take it easy, don't want to further injure things that are so useful later

Been there. Done that. Was in a cast for a month. Then an air cast for two weeks. Had a 50/50 chance of it healing on its own without the need for surgery. Thank goodness I never needed the surgery. I also got very creative in how to feed and water the horses and chickens while on crutches. I even built a run-in for the Mustang I adopted. Try climbing up a ladder while wearing an air cast.

It's been a year and a half and I still have a bit of pain every so often. Not much. Just enough to remind me that falling down the cellar stairs was not one of my most intelligent ideas.

Take time to let it heal correctly. I broke the fifth metatarsal--the bone that runs behind your pinkie toe. They put in in a wheelchair for 8 weeks and then a boot for another 8. Well, I was suppose to be in the boot for 8 weeks. I didn't like that lopside walk it gave me, hurt my back. So now I still have problems with my foot. 4years later!!

LET IT HEAL!!!
