When they start laying, please let us know in this thread what color eggs you get!

The 2 barred are roosters. Beautiful tails, not a doubt in my mind. The 2 black ones are hens! Light brown/cream egg, and someone lays a speckled one occasionally.

The 2 barred ones were roosters. The other 2 are all black with a single red comb. No feather legs. The eggs are a darker brown and one lays a darker brown with speckled that are dark and bloom almost look purplish sometimes.

They sound awesome! I have some similar that lays a light brown and I was told she was a sapphire OE but I’m sure she’s a sapphire gem. Black with a single comb too.
