take something white and take a few hackle feathers and lay them on top of it. if they are pointed then you have a roo if rounded its a hen. with this pic im leaning more towards a roo

I'm afraid this bird is also a roo without a doubt

I once got 4 silkie eggs shipped to me, to my joy alll 4 hatched fine and grew up to be....4 roos
