I got a free cabinet incubator today!!!

I found information about the thermostats on page 2 of this manual:

I'm not sure whether the wafer is wired the same way, I don't want to open the door at the moment and let the heat back out.

good... no need to open the door..

let the temp go as high as you want it to go as a maximum temp.

then when it gets to, let's say 100.5

that is when you turn the L handle in until the light goes off..

adjust the L handle until the temp stays about 100,5.. that is your upper limit safety shut off i case your solid state malfunctions..

after you have it stabilized at 100.5 now you go to the knob and lower the cabinet temp to 99.5 .. and you are good to go..

BTW you should have water in the pan for the final settings...

Well thanks so much for all your help guys. Its running at 99.5 now and not wavering. It hasn't changed more than .1 of a degree all afternoon!

That is great to hear. Glad it worked out. You will like that incubator I am sure. Cabinets are nice. You should post a pic of the outside of the cabinet if you get a chance I would like to see it. I would love to make a homeade one that is just really attractive like a nice piece of furniture. Keep it in the livign room

Sure, i'll take some in the morning. They did a nice job with the cabinet, not sure whether it used to be something else. The shape is quite unusual, it's a lot deeper than it is wide.
