i got baby chicks and i got a few questions.

I just got 2 1 week old chicks road island red and a broad rock and they are 1 week old.
Is it ok if the temp is 80 degrees.
and can i have a stick in the broader

At one week they should be between 85-90 degrees. Watch their behavior. If they are huddling under the lamp, they are too cold. If they are as far from it as they can get, they are too hot.

I don't normally give them roosts at that age but I doubt it will hurt. They may even like it.

in my broader it has the lamp on one side and what if there in the middle of the cage.

Sounds to me like they're pretty comfortable, if they're not directly under the heat source.

I wedged stick in the brooder just barely off the floor for my chicks when they were 1 wk old so they could play and perch on it. I put it so low so that they wouldn't toppel off of it accidently and hurt themselves. Some used it; some didn't. This is what I looked like from the top:
