Thank you! I’m very excited. And nobody warned me that opening that nuc box for the first time was going to be such an adrenaline rush- I think I’m already hooked and I’ve literally only had them for like 48 hours!

After 35+ yrs I decided to get back into bees. Only wanted one hive, now have three, they have a way of expanding right before your eyes. Seems like you always need more boxes with frames. DW said "I thought we agreed on one hive"! My response was they just keep growing and I don't want them swarming. Then I get the look. You get used to the few whacks you'll take. Good luck!

My husband had them years and years ago. For some reason they always attacked him so I ended up doing 'bee duty'. They produced some really nice honey- beautiful color and taste. Sadly, when I decided to further my education as a Vet nurse, I had to send them to another 'bee person'. He really liked my bees as he said they were so easy to get along with an produced well. Tending to them was a truly awesome experience-especially since they liked me!
