I was on dial-up, and told that DSL was not available in my area. Well, they have something called DSL Lite, and I was able to get that!

The dial-up didn't seem that slow, until now!! Yay DSL!!

I have to use a card from my wireless company (verizon). We still have the phone lines from the party lines out here. I might give a toe for DSL. . . . . . . .

I think of the 'members' (not counting mods) I'm #2 right behind the original yappy. I did have satellite, but that was too expensive. So this is a big plus!!! The satellite stunk too...it wasn't much faster than dial-up
