Woot!

My local farmer friends were supposed to have sold me two dozen Polish incubating eggs. The weather here has been really hot - so they haven't been getting as many eggs. When I went to pick them up tonight they only had a dozen and were checking the boxes for a few more. All in all - I got 15 Polish eggs. I asked her if she had any other hatching eggs and if so - to throw them in and I'd buy those too (whatever they were.) To my surprise, she comes back with three Guinea eggs and three Royal Palm turkey eggs!!!!! Totally not what I was expecting - but I'm game!
So we get to talking and I ask her how her sheep shearing went. She then offers me a "bag" of raw wool. So here I'm thinking this tiny ziplock. Nope. She brings me a garbage bag full of two complete sheep. I don't know the correct terminology for it, but I bet I'm going to learn quick. I knit and crochet, but have never touched raw wool before. It's beautiful greasy stuff and I LOVE THE SMELL.
When I ask her how much for the eggs....she said THREE dollars! No way, I said. I tried offering her more money, but she didn't want to take it. So I gave her $6 for the eggs because that's how much her husband wanted originally and it's what I agreed upon. She gave me the sheep wool at NO CHARGE!

They're such nice folks.
She also offered me however many Polish roos I wanted and one of her many cats. lol.
She's already washed some of the eggs and told me to wash the others. I don't know HOW to do that. I guess I'll search about that on here! I asked her if they could be incubated together because I've read otherwise (on here) and she told me to stop being a worry wart and to "just do it." She said they incubate everyone together all the time and have no issues. She said if I have problems to just come back and she'll give me more eggs. This is going to be my first hatch!!!!
She also said to let them rest for at least 24 hours to 4 days before setting them.
Anyone have any tips?
