I got my chick.

I ordered 5 New chicks, four arrived dead, my single chick does not seem really happy, it arrived at 8:00 this morning, I've been keeping it in a box, it has food water, it's warm it moves around a bit , then to my big surprise, it fell over, asleep. but it woke up later, at first I thought it died too, can i get some tips here? I'm new and need some help, I enjoy BYCs info selection, hoping for response.

As far as I know, chickens are very social. I think he might need some buddies. I would definitely call the people you got them from and either have them refund your money or send you new babies. Sorry for your loss.

you might want to get a few more chicks.
the falling over is normal,they suddenly get really tierd and just go to sleep, sometimes standing!

I just took your idea I picked up my phone and got through to them, they are sending me four other ones, they live within ten miles so I should get them in 2/3 hours.
