Had chickens growing up. Husband was hard to convince, but we bought a little coop from Tractor Supply, got a few hens and some baby chicks. Next thing I know, my husband is in the back yard building a 20 x 20 play yard for them! It has only been 25 years since I had chickens as a kid, so I do have a question and am not very familiar with this site. So I will ask it here and see if anybody in this section of the forums knows the answer. My question is how long can eggs sit outside before I have to throw it away? I live in the desert and its 110 degrees out here sometimes I find an egg at night and i do not know at what point during the day they layed the egg.
