I took one picture on my cell phone but I don't know how to get it off. I don't think I will get any eggs today is that usual ? But looks like 5 more hens are getting ready to lay I am going to build a garden minitractor and also install the cool door after I email my teachers.

congrats henry! its not unusual for a hen just starting to only lay sporadically.

thanks I know it was a marans egg becasue it was pretty dark but I know that this is just because of the begining of the laying cycle and that she will not have these nice of eggs but I love her any way. Looks like my two favorrels, EE, and a Delaware are about to lay due to egg squating. My wyndotte has a very red comb but she it too skitish for me to touch. I need to get rid of two birds because of crowding (might not be an issue there is no picking) I think I will get rid of the two leghorns and give them too my ant vicky on here farm. These ones were chosen because of there personality and skitishness. I might be able to keep them though.
