well I got it build but now I have to run it for the night to get it stabilized. I think I am going to have to put a bigger light bulb in for a 15 watt is not going to make it. While building our incubator my DH busted the glass so we had to seal it up good but I can still see in. I would post pictures but it look just like a lot of the other ones that are posted I just don't have a wire shelf in mine yet for I have to get my eggs set tomorrow.

The temp is going up but my humidity is going down, right now it is at 97 for temp and 40% for humidity. what can I do. I have a dish of water with sponge in it, do I need more water

One thing that I have found is the more air you have blowing across the water the higher the humidity will be using the same sized container. You may just move the container.

I have changed the light bulb to a 60 watt to see if I can get the temp up more 97 is not high enough

ad some heat sink bottles. glass bottles filled with water, they will heat up and keep temp steady. use what space will allow, baby food jar (small) spaghetti sauce jar (med & big).

well I have to go back to the 15 watt bulb for the 60 watt was way to much the bad thing is I don't have any small jars at this time.
