Yes, check at the feed store. The people there might know someone who has fertile eggs. Craigslist is also a great option. You can find your State thread in the Where am I? Where are you? section of the forum and post on there. I think California has different threads for different parts of the state.
You could call your county extension agent, in the phone book under county government, and see if they know of anyone in your area with fertile eggs.They should through ther connections with 4-H.
I trust you have a plan to deal with the chicks, especially roosters, that you hatch? I know I'm probably being unfair asking you that because you are young, but it is important to have a plan.
