I got new chicks. (I don't know where to post that i got new chicks)

Ok, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am not asking advice or such, so don't know where to post annoucing the good news that I got some new chicks.

Got 19 pullets last night (all are 12 -14 weeks old).

Here is what I got:

2 red star/cinnamon queen

2 black sex link

2 black jersy giant

2 barred rock

2 buff orphington

2 gold lace wyandott

2 easter eggers

2 speckled sussex

2 blue cochin (one is a splash of light blue and white and one is pale blue)

and 1 blue cochin rooster (he is the pretty dark blue)



They all had come from a hatchery.
They are not in with my chickens, in a different fenced off area. But my male turkey can get in with them and I could use some help about that. (please read my post in the Turkey section)

Congrats on your new chickies! You can ask a mod to move it for you. I suggest moving it under "raising baby chicks" as I see a lot of chick announcements there, but stories of my chickens is also good because they're older chicks. Also, it helps to post photos, too!

I haven't been able to get any pictures yet. My knees are hurting too much for that kind of stuff. LOL I over did yesterday (going to get them, carrying the boxes out to where they are being kept, putting them in the their new home, etc) and it was too much too soon after the knee surgery lasts Friday.

It will be a bit before I am up to doing pictures. It was all I could do to get out and check on them this morning, feed and water.
