I Gotta Ask...

That's not really my bag.

I keep thinking about trying one of those huge new McDonald's hamburgers, though, but I know I would suffer for it later.

And I just finally started eating them again, after my brother told me there were worms in them....That was at least 25 years ago!!

That's probably true, makes you wonder what is disclosed or not depending on who's involved in the food industry......we're probably eating more stuff we aren't aware of....maybe for the better......I guess ....or not.

OK, I like hot dogs..they use all kinds of stuff that would be normally thrown out, but if it's put into these "tube steaks" they should be alright? right? Waste not, want not? They taste good...BUT

Oh well, too late....And NO I did not check out the mice wine......

I will later though

Actually, they used to use sheep and other animal intestines for the casings when making sausage. As far as I know they still do. We make our own sausage and we order the intestine special.

My Mom used to make veal brain and eggs.
She also made tripe soup, beef tongue, ox tail soup, which has become popular with the "gourmet" yuppies, lamb kidneys. and then some.
Us kids would ask what it was, the response was, "Dinner, shut up and eat it." We did, and it was good.
