(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Feb. 2008, I bought Gramps some OEGBs for his 95th birthday and then built him a coop (it never would have happened the other way around).
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
ummm....31 seven-week-old hatchery pullets (BR, RIR, EE), 2 Trader Joe's Foghorn Leghorn pullets, a "perfect trio" of four-week Black Penedesencas, 2 Wheatie Marans peeps, 12 other peeps (BC Marans and F2 OEs, but I can't tell them apart
and a 'bator full of eggs. I am the master 'bator.

I live in the "guest house" of an organic farm with my rescued Pit Bull and two rescued kitties. Other than that...at least I still have awesome hair.
