Hi there. Been reading BYC for over a year. And Any time I Google a question BYC has the best answers. Soooo here I am! Not sure how big of a poster I'll be but I do enjoy many threads I can now follow. And not feel so much like a creeper
I also filled out the copy/paste survey:
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've been around them most of my life. However, didn't cross the "crazy chicken lady" line til a year ago .
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
If I include my current hatch due next week, 30+ lol
(3) What breeds do you have?
Several and some consistent farm mixes I mess with hatching for color and egg production.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
A Google search years ago. And eventually just stopped googling and started coming here for answers.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have been teaching and practicing Yoga for 13 years. I also am into gardening. I rode horses professionally for over 20 years. But now just go on the occasional trail ride.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a mom and step mom of 7. And happily married. We have a cat named Ava.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
