OMG this is amazing! My cup of tea, for sure. My house is weird and creepy all year round. I have "pickled" prop body parts in jars on shelves and such, hahaha. I'm going to start a new project soon; cryptozoological faux taxidermy. I can't wait. Keep posting your projects, please!

I still live at home so my collection of oddities is mostly corralled in my room...one day though, one day!! Cryptozoological faux taxidermy!!!!! We must be kindred spirits, lol. That is totally something I want to do. I've even been collecting jars and shadow boxes and stuff for "display cases"...including a large specimen dome we had just sitting around for some reason.

You must keep us updated whenever you decide to undertake this great...undertaking. Haha. Too cool man.

We are big time Halloween enthusiasts around here- every year we do a yard and porch haunt with as many home made props as we can turn out and each year we add a bit more to it
so I knew exactly what you meant when you said you 'corpsed it'!! Your skulls look awesome! I'll be anxious to see more pics when photobucket is being more cooperative! Yay for haunters!!!
And bigtime yays for haunters who are perfecting their craft even in March!!

And it's never too early to work on props! I'm already planning to start a few more headstones soon and perhaps make some more PVC candles. I had about twenty of them last year...although this time around I just want to keep it simple. A big creepy cemetary with lots of jackos and PVC candles. And most likely one of my monsters in the mix.

yet me mam is trying to persuade me to go with a haunted tiki island theme this year. Hmmm shall I go simple and tradish or tropical island tiki-god goodness? I do think I want to dress up as a tiki head this year...I'll make the head, put LEDs in the eye holes, and be able to see out of the mouth...and then I'll wear a grass skirt and an oversized surf shop tee...and sandles...and perhaps torches...*steeples hands*

That is awesome. Maybe that other one could be the chupacabra lol. I want to make some skulls/partial skulls that are set in cement blocks for a 'tribal wall' for my tiki bar!!

Wooly Mammoth...hmm, yes, I do think so as well. She reminds me of a lot of things...wire makes funny shapes haha.

Speaking of which...here is a pic of Mary from the other side with the mouth open. Definitely need to get some more supports in there. I also think I want to chop off the end of her upper lip thing and re-sculpt it so it can better suit some teeth.
