I had to buy eggs this week!

I too hate ahving to buy eggs from the store. And like one of yo uthat posted earlier, my 6 hens give us 1-2 eggs every other day or so - and with 3 teenagers in the house, that is not nearly enough.

I had to look up this thread and revive it, because yesterday, I spent $5.39! I'd only grabbed a 5 when I ran down to get them - I had to go hunt under the seat of my car for some change!

Here I am with 6 chickens in the backyard and I have to pay 4.25 for a dozen farm eggs. They may find the treats drying up if they don't start giving up the goods. To think I make them yogurt from scratch. Ingrates.

Yeah, my girls have been slow paying the rent too. We get 1-3 eggs a day and sometimes they skip a day. 6 layers!

Well, I'm not alone! This week for the first time in AGES we had to break down and buy store eggs...no 3rd antenna is sprouting from my forehead...yet!
