I hatched a chick and it seems off

The "umbilical cord" is still attached, it's hardening but hasn't fallen off yet and has been at least 12 hours hatched and has a very watery looking stool. The chick acts fine otherwise. Should I just be patient? Is it sick, going to die? I can post pics if needed.

Keep the chick warm, it will help to dry out the remains and it should fall off.
