I hatched a duck!?

I am hatching chicken eggs at school with the students and somehow got a duck egg in the process. Oops! Thanks Kelly! The kids were excited to see it coming! However, it has not been able to stand up on its own. It kinda scoots around on the ground but is eating and drinking. The temperature in the imcubator did fluctuate while we were waiting the remainder of the unhatched eggs. Help. Is there a chance for this little Quacker?

Mine did that for the first day. Hatching is hard work! If you have some pedialyte, you can give him that with an eyedropper. Or put some in his water.

I had a chick that didn't get up on its feet for the first 36 hours or so. Then after it felt stronger it started walking a little at a time, and now it is normal. So don't give up on it yet!
