I Hate Mites!

[Enchanted Sunrise Farms]

. . . that's it. i just really hate them . . . a lot.

. . . i've been fighting them in my outside pens for months. Now i have them inside on my indoor chicken. I think they came in on the hen i kept inside for overnight who was eggbound. Then they got on me, then transferred to my indoor chicken pen. Now that is crawling, i'm crawling, and i'm hoping my new babies don't get them.

I just posted in the wrong spot I think, about mites are they actual bug looking or white powdery looking?? My griend asked I never had them yet. Anyway she has white powder looking stuff in her coop but none on her birds???

Mites look like teeny brown or beige spots, smaller than the head of a pin. Not sure what the white powdery stuff would be.

Could the white powdery stuff be diatomaceous earth (DE)? Supposed to be good on pests!
