I hate rose of sharon......

It's everywhere! One whole corner of my property has turned into a rose of Sharon forest. It's like a hydra. I cut one down and 2 more pop up. I got the pick ax out but its going to take forever to dig it up and eradicate it. I don't even think it's pretty when it blooms. Sorry. Had to vent.

Yeah know what you mean.i eradicate everyone on my old city former home. later I found a cultivator called "Diana" it does make all those seedling like the regular one does..
Funny that since we moved to the "country" sort of. this property is loaded the weedy regular ones. so when its just rained pick out the small ones pull them up roots and all.
I read about hibiscus being good for us like in a tea. BUT FOUND out its not the common weedy ones.... Only good thing is that when they are blooming its the goo to place to capture Japanese beetles and give them to your flock
I put them in cricket cages
Hubby made me a home made lid etc for the Round big ones
add a chain and a cotter pin to keep the lid on...mark the lip of the round ones and poke a hole with a hot ice pick or drill a hole.
Now the long skinny ones have their own lids...

I have never cared much for them either. And I have cut down a few.

Trying to find my way around the site....I wonder if there are any garden by state threads. Guess I'm off to check it out.
