I hav a chick with a small bald spot on her shoulder

. When I first got her I noticed this bald spot is it something I should b concerned about or is it just something harmless...is there anyway to treat it to help the baby feathers grow back ..plz help!!

Welcome to BYC!!! How many baby chicks do you have and how old are they? Are they possibly overcrowded? The bald spot will grow back if its given a chance. If the other chickens in the pen are pecking at it, the bald spot will only get worse. We sometime have to separate the babies that are getting picked on for a few days till their feathers grow back. Sometimes we have to separate them for weeks.

I hav 2 bantams that are 4 days old ... I hav not seen them pecking at each other however I will keep an eye out for ..thank you for the help!!!
