I candled my quail eggs today and 14 out of 15 were fertile! I just hope the 14 hatch cause my quail are getting older and are slowing down with the laying:/

The fun of hatching them is all the price I need.

Your buttons stop laying over the winter? Do you keep them outside? Mine are outside now, but I bring them back in when it starts getting colder. So they lay all winter long, unfortunately.

Yay; congrats on the hatch! I have 24 quail due to hatch in one week - 12 Coturnix and 12 button.
