I have 2 Game hens that...

Have each set a nest this year and hatched babies. Now I am wondering if this time of summer if I were to purchase some
eggs and placed them in 1 of their nesting boxes would I be
able to make 1 of them want to go broody? Has anyone ever
tried to induce broodiness this way?

is it too late in the year to hope this could work?

you could get fake eggs like gold balls or something and get them to go broody and once they go broody switch out the fake ones for real ones.
