I want to get 10 more today. 17 days later. My question is do I need to seperate them?
will the older chicks bully or peck the new chicks?
Thanks
Connie
oh and 1 more question different subject
I have a barred rock that is “molting“? Is it to late in the season for that or should I
look for a different reason
Thanks again

I wouldn't put them together, even if they don't mean to the big chicks will probably trample the little ones. when the young ones are 4-5 weeks i would say they would be fine to be together.
As for the molting question i have a few hens molting now, the weather in PA is really messing with them. I wouldn't be concerned unless it is reaaaally cold.

I would keep them separated by wire but right next to each other.
At least for a few days, then try to integrate them.
Pics of your brooder set up might help here.
