I have 4 day old chicks and a few questions

Update! I took my 4 day chicks outside today when it was pretty warm and they loved it! They ran around, pecked at the grass, and even chased our dogs! (We have 3, 4 pound chihuahuas that are afraid of everything lol) I'm so happy I took them out, I'll probably take them out a few times a week.

I was super protective of my first group (now 10-11 weeks old), I didn't let them outside but for 30 minutes a day..my 2nd group that is now 3 weeks, I have outside all of the time..I even let them stay outside all night last night.. I keep the bigger chicks inside of a huge dog crate with chicken wire zip-tied all around it and the little chicks are either in a plastic tote inside and home made cage I got from a local livestock show.. it is solid 4 walls, and top and bottom wood and then it comes out a little further and is a larger fencing( about 4 inch square openings) so I also covered all of that wire with chicken wire.. Its been in the upper 60s overnight here and Ive not had to put a heat lamp out for either group, but there are 12 in the younger group and the inside temp of the pile they sleep in is about 95 degrees.. let us know how your lil ones are doing
