Opportunity....I have 2 black Orp and 2 English Orp blue hens........I have an incubator....In a rebel move I bought a 100% English Blue Splash roo....Problem......I live on the edge of the city, I have a city permit to keep 4 hens but no roosters allowed. I would like to get some hatching eggs from him and my Orp pullets. They are all 4 months old.....so breeding and lay is off a ways.
When he starts to crow I need ideas...........my garden shed- coop is single walled I could double wall and insulate it, in an attempt to sound proof it....Would that work?.....
I could move them into my garage into a large cage--no windows but I could have a light on...........
Come Spring I would sell him....
