My biter and hanger is a Mottled too!I have a mottled that does the same thing! She (please don't be a "he") latched on like a dog taking her OUT OF THE SHIPPING BOX. I've never seen such mouthy chicks. I thought they were supposed to be docile!
He will just dangle until I remove him. Never seen that before and if I wasn't concerned it would be a bad habit it would be cute. Thankfully he seems to have stopped....3 days and counting. We are working on integration right now and 1 of my black sex links pecked him for being in the food, since he got pecked he has stopped pecking and hanging off me.
