I kinda wonder when they get to the point of birthing themselves like thisAll my silkies hatched (6 all together) and I'm pretty sure they are in my top 3 of cutest breeds as babiesonly lost one due to not pipping and suffocating
Sorry...... not sorry haha! Had to share the cuteness w the worldWhat a beautiful post to wake up to this morning when I SHOULD be showering and readying for work in 80 minutes. (Thank goodness the job is 8 minutes away as the crow flies).

NP. On my break now and who am I spending it with? BYC peeps.Sorry...... not sorry haha! Had to share the cuteness w the world
I have helped chicks when I felt like it was time or else they die. Afterward, I have had more that died than lived after helping. It sounds bad but it’s natures way of having the toughest survive. Even when letting broody hens do the work, I have found dead chicks after fully hatching. No I’m not a “feel good” guy but I can share my experience with it.I kinda wonder when they get to the point of birthing themselves like thiscan't we go 'head and help 'em out. Maybe put a couple more holes to help them get out?
