In a nutshell
I couldn't believe it,I've heard that Sebrights don't go broody. She went into the nest on Monday afternoon and hasn't moved since. She's very protective of her eggs, and gets very mad when I take the big chicken eggs.

Congratulations! Is she sitting on her own eggs? I had one hatch out some bo eggs once and I've got to tell you there is nothing funnier than watching a sebirght protect a 4 wk old chick that is the nearly the same size as she is.

I think sebrights are the ultimate never say never bird. According to logic they shouldn't fit in with a mixed flock, shouldn't go broody, and shouldn't be so much fun. What happens is that because they are always exceeding your expectations you appreciate them so much more.

Congrats!
I love the breed and have only had the pleasure of owning one of them in my life. He was a great bird.
