I have a broody YAHOO!!

I've been waiting for one of my Buff Orps to go broody, when I went to get eggs tonight, there she was all fluffed up growling at me. How many eggs can an average size BO sit on? I want to give her some of my home grown eggs.

My poor Old English bantam used to sit on 4 regular size(barred rock) eggs at a time. All of them hatched and she mothered them until they were more than double her size.

I am guessing about 8 max. They naturally stop laying and go broody around 5. In between there should be okay.
