I have a chick that looks just like the silkies but

it only has 4 toes. The others have 5. What else could it be though?

A mix would be my guess with a cochin maybe? I have some crosses that have the 5 toes and some that look exactly like them but only have 4.

Some silkies that are pet quality will have 4 toes. In breeder flocks, if it ever comes up, the birds are culled and sold as pets or non breeders.

Its a full blood, came from a hatchery but its probably pet quality.
