I have a coloration question

So I bought two pigeons they weren't a pair so I paired them up and they hatched a chick thanks God so they are both beautiful bluebars but I'm noticing that the chick has some white fethers is this normal? will they change? I'm just wondering

He or she will have a lot of white feathers as an adult. Will be a very pretty pigeon!

Thank you very much I was thinking that but how is it possible if both parents are blue bar?
Is it that they have white feathered family?

I'm not an expert on pigeon genetics but there are a few basics that may help explain.
Pigeons only have three colors. Blue, ash-red and brown. Male carry 2 of the color alleles and females only 1. White is not a color. White feathers result from other alleles that prevents the normal expression of the blue. So one way to imagine it is to say this baby is a blue bar but he inheirited genes that caused some of his feathers to not produce the proper melanin particles for blue color. Those may be recessive so each of his parents may carry this factor but it doesn't show up in them.

Lol,I think you explained perfectly at least now I understand their genetics better I was wondering because I believe one of their legs is half white so I was thinking maybe that was it ,so this means he inherited this Gene since he is white no?

That is a beautiful hen I think but it is gorgeous I hope it will be something like that
