I have a concern I need help on plz and tks

As you know from other post. My wyandotte is hatching chicks today. My issue is there is another Hen in the coop with her and her eggs haven't started to hatch yet.?????
But now they are both in the box with the babies... Is that ok??

I wouldn't worry too much. They both will be dedicated to taking care of the chicks.
I once had 8 pullets brooding in a community nest with about 30 eggs in it. After all the stealing of eggs only one chick hatched and they all tried to mother it.
I wish I would have kept track of that chick to see how that behavior created a psychotic bird.

Well thank you. I just wish I knew if there was anymore. It sounds like more but the girls are not letting me see

Eventually they'll bring the chicks out to forage and you can count them then.

Update on my hens they both laid in their own nest last night and some of today. But now neither one will go to the nest. What do I do about the eggs that are still there
