I have a couple questions

After our disease issue is resolved I would like to start up my flock again so I have a couple questions about the swaps. If you see a chicken at a swap do you go up to the person and say "I like this chicken, how much? Or do you have to bid on the chicken? If you bring a chicken to sell how would you set up a station where you want to sell it? Do you bring any food to the swaps? If I can think of any more questions I will ask.

Usually each person sets up their chickens in their own little area then people mingle around and if they are interested in your birds they will tell you. Depending on the swap they usually have a pot luck and ask evryone to bring something. When you go to the swaps you should have a price set for your birds. You don't have to trade you can sell or buy as well I have sold birds at the swaps but so far I haven't bought any as we are out of space right now I have 3 brooders going and 28 in the bator so I am not buying anything for awhile.lol Hope this helps Micki
