I have a EE I do belive who is giving me laying problems

So far everyone who has started laying lays in the nest box. Yesterday morning I got a egg that must have been dropped from the roost..it was pinkish in color and the shell was hard but it was cracked open. Last night imade note of who was sleeping where and this morning a membrane egg no shell was on the poop board. So I know it's a EE any advice on how to solve this or is nature going have to work it out. In other words just wait it out the EE will figure it out sooner or later.

She is probably laying it in her sleep. Nature should work it out and in a little while she hopefully will be able to do it while she is awake and do it in the nestbox. Some chickens just never figure it out though. Good luck.

I'm not happy with her, I was looking foreward to her pretty eggs. She better figure it out. I
am not going to waste space and time on a hen who can't get the laying right.
