Okay so tell me, has anyone else had their rooster (mati) try and crow? It looks and sounds like the ones outside do

How were they sexed?

I have no idea. I bought Phoebe and Matilda as girls but when we got back from our holiday I noticed Matilda’s comb has gone very red so I knew instantly it was a cockerel. Lucky I think is a girl. How they sexed them I’m not sure

Can't be sure of sex at this age.

This 7 week old ended up being a pullet. Nothing is 100% until they crow or lay an egg.

Matilda is a definite cockerel
And lucky is looking like a cockerel and he/she’s definitely not a silkie..
silkies have pea combs
He/she could be a mix though.
