I have a female Ground Dove .

I have a 3 year old female pet ground dove, and would like to know all about ground doves. Also where I can get a male ground dove as a nest mate to our pet. I have no idea why I came up as interested in chickens!

I don't know a whole lot about doves or where you could buy one. Best of luck finding one though.

Apparently ground doves are a wild bird - it may be illegal to confine them.

Welcome to BYC! I think @sourland is correct. You might want to check with your local wildlife authorities to be sure it's legal to have her.
