I have a goat by accident.

I have a goat and dont know much about them other than she headbutts my dog. I was told by the people that we got her from that she is a year old. I plan on learning more about her and I want to breed her. She is awesome. Her name is NAA. She was scared of everyone till we got her. Now she lets us pet her and she is nice to the baby when he gives her apples.

goats are social creatures, you may want to get her a friend.

the lady i bought our goats from will not even sell a person one goat.

I agree...goats need a companion. If I sell a doe then usually a wethers goes with her. They do better with another goat as company.

she does need a friend. when i bought my doe, i bought a wether to keep her company. we then decided we didnt want to feed his greedy butt if he wasnt going to work for us, so we sold him and bought another doe. good luck!
