I have a hen that I need help identifying..

D'anvers eggs, bottom. They are pale brown to not-quite-white. Considering how small the pullets are, I think they are pretty big! Even this close to the solstice, between our two banty girls, they give us at least one egg most days.

One of our d'anvers girls in the classic d'anvers stance: lowered wings and raised tail. She is 9 months old.

Does this look anything like your girl? If not, then I would agree with others' ee ID, even though she is very d'anvers-like.

Wow that is identical to her and we have been getting small tan eggs. But we didn't know if they were hers or the d'uccle's

Wow I can't believe yours don't mind the snow:)

So these are two different eggs. Does the one on the right look like yours?

So when my eggs are placed in the incubator. After a couple days how do I tell if it has an embryo growing or not?

Could u explain a little more. Sorry:(

Ok after a day or two red lines will begin inside of the eggs from the air cell. You can tell this by candling them. You do this by having a flashlight or candler and shine it into the egg.

They will be red. I have some in the incubator right now. You can look it up on the web or YouTube. You can look them up under fertile eggs.
