I have a hen that sleeps a lot and goes around with her eyes half shut

She's been acting like this for about a month now, she used to be energetic and wide awake. She's about a year and a half old, and the other chickens don't have any of these symptoms. My chickens are Rhode Island Reds. Also they were laying a lot of eggs but now I don't get very many.

Does your bird make any strange noises like coughing or gurgling sounds when she breathes?

could they possibly be molting you said a year and a half thats about time for a big big molt. and

No, she's not making any strange noises. She's strangley quiet. They are going through a molting stage now though, they've been losing a lot of feathers.
