I've posted on here before because I was killing all my eggs before they hatched.
Well, the other side of the coin is that I FINALLY have a newly hatched chick!
I've been reading and taking in the advise given and finally after umpteen dozen eggs killed I now am hatching them!
I have one hatched and now out of the hatcher and another egg I'm still waiting on. After the lone egg, I have another two dozen that are ready to go in! The little guy had to come out, he hatched yesterday morning and was peeping and kept trying to flail himself into the dish I use to keep water in the hatcher.
I've been paying close attention to humidity and ventilation. I've kept the humidity at 40% in the bator and at 85% in the hatcher. I'm very pleased!
So thank you to all that helped me figure this incubating out! Its finally paying off!
