I have a pair... Which means ducklings in the future!

I'm pretty sure I have a drake Wayan and a duck Ketut. Which is kinda funny, since my guess was the opposite way around.

So now I'm excited but very worried about the duckling arrival and what I'm supposed to do???

Questions for the experienced:
1. Do I let nature take its course and leave the process to the parents?

2. If not, when do I take the eggs and how will I know if the eggs are fertilised?

3. My pair are 3 1/2 months old, when will eggs begin to appear?

4. If I take the eggs, will my pair be upset they have lost their babies at my hands? Will the babies imprint on me if I leave the babies with the parents?

5. Who will want a new runner duckling/s?

Duckling arrival? Ducks don't usually begin laying until 6-8 months so trust me you have plenty of time. You don't need to take the eggs away but the duck will only sit when she becomes "broody" so I would collect them 2x a week until she starts sitting on a nest. If you collect them too often you discourage her from becoming broody whereas wait to long and they will rot or a predator will find them if she keeps laying without becoming broody.

Ducks don't mind you taking the eggs unless they are broody.

You can usually sell ducklings without a problem from what I have heard.
