No not always. Sometimes they are just ready early and out they pop.

Have you been candling?

You should have noticed that they were developing when you started incubating.

I would wait a day or two, remove the live chicks, candle the remainder of the eggs and then proceed with the other eggs.

sometimes they are just ready early, i have had early hatchers on day 19, with the majority hatching day 20/21, and even the odd straggler on day 22.
