They have two eyelids - a see-through one that comes from the side that will slide over the eye when they go underwater ect and another actual eyelid (over the other one) that comes down when they close their eyes/sleep

Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone!! This is just from watching my ducks

I would guess YES, otherwise how would they chase and catch little fish/water beetles/pond weed, etc.

Either that, or they have sophisticated underwater radar like bats - but I would say not, lol!

Lol sorry yeah they can see - I've done a lot of watching

But the bat radar sounds fun
