I showed my DH your comment and he was not impressed. I think it's funny though!!!

He has already it made it plain and clear to me that when it comes to these chickens and them having to be disposed of, he will not have any part of it. He clearly isn't the one taking care of the roos either!

I almost had to separate two of them last night. They kept going at it and making all of the other chicks in the brooder completely upset. I have one sweet little pullet, she's my Henny Penny, that just cowers to the ground every time the other chicks get to messing around. It makes me upset at the other chicks for scaring her like that! I wonder if time-out works on chicks?!?!

I never really noticed any of their legs being different in size and most of them don't like being caught. Maybe that's because so many ARE roos!!!

Wish you lived around here so you could've put me out of my misery earlier!

I really was hoping for more pullets. Oh well. Next time!

What ever happened to that "50-50" thing??? It seems like roos always outnumber pullets. What's up with that??

LOL, don't worry, I'll catch up, I have 16 eggs that are hatching right now. I got 5 hens and 1 roo last time. You know what that means, right?? I'm due for about 10 roos this time!!!
