I have a question about sex linking..

If I breed my RIR Roo with a Buff Orp hen will the male chicks be RIR and the female Orp? I'm new to chickens.. Thanks!!

No. That cross would not give you sex-linked chicks, and in any case the genes for each breed combine--each chick would be a mix of each parent. This topic is better posted in the Breeds, Genetics & Showing section.
