In some states it is against the law to keep wild turkeys so if you have turkeys and one of the hens mate with a wild turkey do you have to destroy the poults or can you keep them? I plan on raising some turkeys and wild turkeys pass through my 6 acres and I will be free ranging the turkeys I raise so there is a possibility that they will encounter a wild turkey. The Narragansett turkey is what I am interested in and it was created using wild and domestic turkeys so would you be able to tell that the poults are cross breeds or not? Just thinking ahead of the game.
